Why buy it here
The hardest-wearing surface we can sell you, and the least fussy to own.
Large-format porcelain is the one surface that behaves as well as it looks. Here's what changes when you buy it from a supplier who doesn't also want the fabrication work.
It's in stock, here
The range sits on Welch Street in North Vancouver, not on a container. What you pick this week can be on site next week.
We only sell the material
Supply is the whole business. We don't cut or fit, so we're never quoting against the fabricator or tiler you hired. We just get them the right material.
Matched across formats
Slab, floor tile, trim and 20 mm paver off the same production. The counter, the floor and the patio can genuinely be one material.
Held until your trade is ready
Your material gets tagged and set aside, then delivered to your fabricator, tiler or site on a date we agree with them directly.
Collections
Six families, hundreds of faces.
How it works
From our floor to your trade.
Four steps. We handle the material and the logistics; your fabricator, tiler or installer handles the skilled work.
- 01
Tell us the project
Rooms, rough dimensions and the look you're after. A photo of the space or a designer's drawing is plenty to start from.
- 02
Book a viewing
We pull three or four realistic candidates and have them standing up under daylight-balanced light before you arrive, and say which sit at the top of your budget.
- 03
Tag and reserve
The exact slabs or pallets you picked get marked and held, so they're still yours when your fabricator or tiler is ready for them.
- 04
Delivered to your trade
Crated or palletised and delivered to whichever shop is cutting, whoever is laying it, or straight to site, on a date we confirm with them rather than with you.

“We wanted one slab to run up the backsplash and around the island, and Stone Trail found a book-matched pair that made it possible. They tagged both and held them until our shop was ready for them.”
Come and see it at full size.
Photographs flatten the veining and sample chips lie about scale. Book a viewing and fifteen minutes will tell you more than a week of browsing.
FAQ
Questions we get asked most.
Something not covered? Call (604) 960-1090. You'll get a straight answer, not a sales script.
Do you cut and install as well?
No. Stone Trail supplies material. That's the entire business. We sell it and deliver it to whichever fabrication shop is cutting, or whoever is laying it. If you don't have someone yet, tell us the job and we'll point you at people who work with large-format porcelain regularly.
What do you actually stock?
Countertop slabs up to 1600×3200 mm in 12 and 20 mm; floor and wall tile from 12×24 inch upward; bullnose and step nosings; 20 mm outdoor pavers; and 3 to 6 mm panels thin enough to clad over an existing wall. All of it on site in North Vancouver.
Does porcelain need sealing?
No. Porcelain is fired non-porous, so there is nothing for a sealer to soak into. Granite and marble need re-sealing every year or two; porcelain never does. Warm water and a soft cloth is genuinely the whole maintenance routine.
Can I put a hot pan straight onto it?
Yes. The slab was fired at around 1,200 °C, so a pan straight off the burner does nothing to it. This is the clearest advantage over engineered quartz, where the resin binder scorches and leaves a permanent mark.
Can the same material go inside and outside?
On the collections that run both thicknesses, yes: the same graphic in a thin interior tile and a 20 mm exterior paver, so a floor can carry straight through the doors onto the terrace. Not every face is produced in 20 mm, so it's worth asking early.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, and it works in your favour. Booking means the material you came to see is out, standing up and lit when you arrive, and somebody is with you to answer for it, rather than you walking a warehouse on your own.
